Computational Scientist - Software Engineer

I am a mechanical engineering graduate from the National Technical of Athens, where I focused on computational methods and optimization. The subject of my diploma thesis was Multidisciplinary Analysis and Optimization (MDAO), more specifically as it relates to aerostructural and Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) problems. Currently, I am an incoming student at the University of Cambridge for the MPhil in Scientific Computing.

Software

I enjoy developing numerical software, such as finite-element and finite-volume solvers. Some examples:

-SFEM: A parallel C++ framework for the numerical solution of PDEs on unstructured meshes

-WELDSIM: Thermal simulation of arc welding with AMR

-mSense: A Python framework for Multidisciplinary Analysis and Optimization

-ArgParse: Lightweight parser for command-line arguments in modern C++
